We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type<\/strong>: Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations of Synapse Services, Reconnect HDI and Psych Pharmacy.<\/li>\n<li>Provide managerial and oversight for all accounting functions<\/li>\n<li>Provide accurate, timely periodic financial statements of Synapse Services, Reconnect HDI and Psych Pharmacy Services to management<\/li>\n<li>Provide direction to all accounting staff under your supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight of assets and finances of Synapse Services, Reconnect HDI and Psych Pharmacy<\/li>\n<li>Manages overall responsibility for accounting related information from Synapse Service, Reconnect HDI and Psych Pharmacy<\/li>\n<li>Oversight include monitoring purchases compared to the budget, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, and capital expenditures\/equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of all cash accounts and monitoring of cash receipts and disbursements.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate performance and professional development of staff.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the management of the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of Synapse Services, Reconnect HDI and Psych Pharmacy.<\/li>\n<li>Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role e.g. AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting etc.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises end-of-period processes and supports the analysis of the periodical business performance, budgets, and forecasts.<\/li>\n<li>Management and coordination of activities relating to Vendors\/Procurement.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for timely monthly, separate and consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting for submission to management<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early-warning of cost-overruns.<\/li>\n<li>Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Review &amp; approve payment vouchers &amp; journal entries.<\/li>\n<li>Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the Maintenance and reconciliation of Goods Receipts\/ Invoice Receipt Account.<\/li>\n<li>Create and enhance financial policies and procedures across the accounting department as well as the wider Finance department.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures consistency in procedures and policies across the accounting department and that these policies are appropriately set for the achievement of the business\u2019s overall goals and objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Leads compliance with the business\u2019s internal corporate framework policies and finance manuals.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly evaluating of Unapplied Advance Payment to determine the risk level.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances<\/li>\n<li>Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.<\/li>\n<li>Develops reports on all accounting related matters inclusive of taxation matters. These reports accompany pro-active advice and recommendations on the business\u2019s financial approaches from an accounting and taxation perspective.<\/li>\n<li>Formulate and oversee the implementation of the company\u2019s accounting policies<\/li>\n<li>Ensure completeness and accuracy of the company\u2019s records (e.g. Clients, Suppliers, Banks, Employees, Management, Government and its relevant agencies etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duty assigned by the Medical Director<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education, Experience &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of M.Sc in Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>First Degree must be in Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Certified member of ICAN\/ACCA.<\/li>\n<li>3 &#8211; 4 years core experience in accounting\/management account<\/li>\n<li>Excellent strategic planning skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and highly meticulous.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Oracle Financials or any other financial software<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Application \/ CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:jobs@intersectconsortium.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jobs@intersectconsortium.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>31st July, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Intersect Consortium is a world-class organization that provides services and products for high-quality mental health, technology and medical equipment sales.
