We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Supervisor, Technical Stores<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Engineering Procurement<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Technical Stores Manager<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage warehouse inventory and activities including receipt, storage, and release of all the tools, equipment, and spare parts used for Aircraft maintenance in accordance with Company&#8217;s procedures and regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide part and service required for Line &amp; Base maintenance activities; Rotable, Expendables, Consumables, Cabin, IFE, Hardware, Software, Oil\/Lubricant, Chemicals, Raw Materials, GSE, Tools and Test Equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Inventory data provided from internal and external sources are properly assessed and introduced on the inventory management system.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and provide the inventory data control reports and give feedbacks. Coordinate with financial accounting section on matters related to month Inventory closing.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring inventory holding thresholds and transactions as per the allocated budget.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and review policies and procedures governing the unit(s) as required by Line Manager and Head of Supply Chain.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly submission of reports based on the activities in the unit.<\/li>\n<li>Report incidents\/accident occurrences as per company procedures Adhere to the company safety, health, and environmental policy. Perform all other tasks as may be required by the Line Manager.<\/li>\n<li>System User acceptance testing and inventory interface error reporting and resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure reliability of inventory information contained in the corporate record.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the Inventory custodian identity and weakness in control system and report irregularities.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and oversee the activities of subordinates. Quarterly appraisal of employees&#8217; performance in the unit(s).<\/li>\n<li>Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports and amend financial records regarding inventory holding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Supply Chain \/ Business Management \/ Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;At least 5 years&#8217; experience within an Aviation Industry warehouse with 2 years in a supervisory role.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with regulatory requirements of Aviation authorities pertaining to handling, acceptance, storage, inventory control and issuance of<\/li>\n<li>technical spare parts and associated equipment used for aircraft maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Independent and systematic work style with changing requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication Skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure with little or no supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Specialised knowledge on Industrial Safety Standards.<\/li>\n<li>Good application of Human factors.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge in computerized Airline inventory management system.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Dangerous Goods Handling.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Store Inspection procedures and ability to satisfy or pass company Quality Assurance requirements.<\/li>\n<li>High degree of customer orientation.<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of working in teams and familiar with lean principles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Indicators:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inventory accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Material issuance time.<\/li>\n<li>Number of incidents\/accidents.<\/li>\n<li>Timely closure of audit findings.<\/li>\n<li>Team development.<\/li>\n<li>Inventory outages.<\/li>\n<li>Obsolete and excessive materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven track record of good accountability, transparency, and integrity.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical thinker.<\/li>\n<li>Good customer service delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Good quality coordination.<\/li>\n<li>Multitasking skill without compromising on quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@flyairpeace.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">careers@flyairpeace.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using &#8220;Supervisor Technical Stores&#8221; as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0 <\/strong>28th July 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Only qualified candidates will be shortlisted<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Air Peace Limited, we continuously strive for excellence in all we do.
