We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Health and Safety Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ilesa, Osun<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Working Days:<\/strong> Monday to Saturday<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Safety Officer is responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Making regular site inspections.<\/li>\n<li>Planning safe working practices and making necessary changes.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that equipment is installed correctly\/safely.<\/li>\n<li>Writing reports, bulletins and newsletters on safety.<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking risk assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying potential hazards and conducting job hazards analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Determining ways of reducing risks.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with relevant authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Organizing\/attending health and safety meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Safely handling hazardous substances.<\/li>\n<li>Making recommendations following accidents\/incidents.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping up to date with developments within the profession.<\/li>\n<li>Making presentations to groups of employees\/managers.<\/li>\n<li>Providing health and safety training courses for employees and managers.<\/li>\n<li>Investigating\/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health.<\/li>\n<li>Writing internal health and safety policies\/strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Drawing-up safe operational procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the best and adequate protective clothing and equipment is available for all staff members and Pilots at the Plant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements \/ Skills \/ Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc in Public Health or any related course in a Health, Safety or Environmental field of study.<\/li>\n<li>Good organization skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically.<\/li>\n<li>Good public speaking skills.<\/li>\n<li>Leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years experience in health and safety.<\/li>\n<li>HSE Certification is compulsory.<\/li>\n<li>Male\/Female.<\/li>\n<li>In depth knowledge of safety procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN100,000 monthly (Net) plus other benefits<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@zindziswaltd.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hr@zindziswaltd.com<\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>27th July, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zindziswa Concept Limited is into Hauling &amp; Logistics, Marketing &amp; Supply, Fleet Management, Mobile Convenience Services, Waste Management &amp; Real Estate.
