Our client, an Oil and Gas Company, is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Transport Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lekki Phase I, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Industry:<\/strong> Oil and Gas Sector<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Duties \/ Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and supervise the shipments from production to the end-user<\/li>\n<li>Schedule daily and weekly routes<\/li>\n<li>Track orders using functional systems<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and report on transportation costs<\/li>\n<li>Ensure shipping documents are properly filed<\/li>\n<li>Report maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Research and suggest cost-effective transporting methods<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular safety audits on vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Organize training sessions for employees (e.g. proper use of machines and handling of hazardous material)<\/li>\n<li>Keep organized records of vehicles, schedules and completed orders<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation<\/li>\n<li>Stay up-to-date with safety regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications \/ Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc \/ HND in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or any related Course.<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years of proven experience as Transportation Manager, Shipping Manager or similar role<\/li>\n<li>Ability to supervise and train staff<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving abilities<\/li>\n<li>Age: 35-45 years.<\/li>\n<li>Must have vast Knowledge in Petroleum Haulage and Transportation<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of supply chain management<\/li>\n<li>Experience preparing and tracking orders<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><br \/>\nN180,000 Monthly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:talents@georgehoustonresources.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">talents@georgehoustonresources.com<\/a>\u00a0using &#8220;Transport Manager&#8221;
