We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Account Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lekki, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Finance<br \/>\n<strong>Reports To:<\/strong> Finance Manager<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compute, remit, and file applicable VAT (Value Added tax) returns on a monthly basis.<\/li>\n<li>Perform various daily tax operations, ensuring that all policies and procedures are always fully followed.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparing and distributing Payslips.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for updating account payable and completing reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare PAYE Returns documentations and tax obligation for the relevant tax authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Provide information to answer any queries raised by the relevant tax authorities in respect to PAYE Returns.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly tax report and finalize all pre-close activities.<\/li>\n<li>Apply for and obtain the TCC for all employees (local and upcountry).<\/li>\n<li>Undertake all correspondences relating to objection to any disputed Notice of Assessment.<\/li>\n<li>Compute monthly WHT and NCD computation, remittances and provide payees with receipts.<\/li>\n<li>Review and analyse invoices and other financial documents and perform tax accounts reconciliation.<\/li>\n<li>File monthly and annual returns with the relevant tax authorities across 36 locations.<\/li>\n<li>Managing financial records in compliance with Tax and Accounting Laws.<\/li>\n<li>Manage issues that arise from the tax audit.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other tasks as assigned to you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Job Roles<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Payment of statutory taxes<\/li>\n<li>Preparing tax returns, Filling of tax returns, analysing tax regulations, monitoring industry trends, and completing tax reports.<\/li>\n<li>Responding to tax queries<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining accurate financial reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education 1st Degree in Accounting, Finance<\/li>\n<li>Studying towards professional qualification eg ICAN, CITN ACCA etc<\/li>\n<li>1-3 years practical experience<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle and prepare financial reports.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of MS packages (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in using Accounting Software is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pay Scale<\/strong><br \/>\nN120,000 \/ month.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@arionenergy.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recruitment@arionenergy.ng<\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>25th August, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Arion Energy Services is an energy services provider to the oil and gas, energy, and maritime industries.
