We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Purchasing Agent<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Job-Category:<\/strong> Procurement<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Job Schedule:<\/strong> Full-Time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check purchase requests and obtain quotations at least three quotations in accordance with establishment\u2019s policies &amp; standards.<\/li>\n<li>Assist\u00a0all departments\u00a0in sourcing new suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Have a good understanding of the type, quality and pricing of all purchase items regularly required by the hotel.<\/li>\n<li>Following up and ensure that all the outstanding orders are properly delivered and accordingly maintained the communication effectively with users.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the tracking procedures for all the process in efficient and traceable manners<\/li>\n<li>Process purchase orders received from the various departments.<\/li>\n<li>Process the daily market list as a priority.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure the delivery of goods is according to delivery date that required in the purchase order and market list.<\/li>\n<li>Advise the Financial\u00a0Controller on quotations recommending suppliers offering the most competitive price whilst taking consideration quality, delivery time and consistency of supply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma \/ Degree in any related field.<\/li>\n<li>2 years + related experience preferred with buying\/purchasing experience.<\/li>\n<li>Fast learner and adaptable on different site conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical skill, project leading,\u00a0 problem solving &amp; communication skill<\/li>\n<li>Required skills: Ms Excel, Google sheet, Google slide, Quickbooks<\/li>\n<li>Exposure in handling projects, purchase of packaging materials, machineries, spare parts, facilities &amp; utilities items.<\/li>\n<li>Well versed in purchasing techniques and assisting in vendor selection with excellent negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Positive attitude to learn and take up new challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Independent and able to work with minimum supervision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.smartrecruiters.com\/AccorHotel\/743999920568853-purchasing-agent\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Novotel &#8211; We are far more than a worldwide leader.
