We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Senior Business Development Executive (Upstream, Oil &amp; Gas)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overall Purpose of the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To assist with the attainment of company\u2019s business growth objectives; articulating new business development opportunities in the upstream sector of the Oil and Gas Industry and compiling bids and collecting projects data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop technical and commercial knowledge of all our product offerings and services.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the attainment of the company\u2019s business development strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Identify immediate and long-term needs by clients for company\u2019s products and services on such projects.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange meetings between E&amp; P Companies and our partners.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise between the company and key agencies in the industry such as NAPIMS, DPR etc.<\/li>\n<li>Manage day to day relationships with partners and clients and develop a deep understanding of their needs.<\/li>\n<li>Generate work orders, Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (PO).<\/li>\n<li>Effectively manage each customer account to ensure sales targets are fully achieved.<\/li>\n<li>Collate and communicate business intelligence.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full payment for all supplies and services.<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile customers\u2019 accounts and ensure proper documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular updates on plans and progress.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate consistent sales development success and target \u2013 driven achievement.<\/li>\n<li>Identify application areas on client sites and make appropriate proposal on the benefits and usage of the products.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and recommend as most appropriate, technical assistance for key customers, Prospect for and acquire new and financially viable high-volume customers, Prepare and make effective product presentations to clients.<\/li>\n<li>Understand full working of Joint Venture Partners and any new technology.<\/li>\n<li>Gather new intelligence for the preparation of reports, tenders and presentations that will win the company contracts in on-going and up-coming projects.<\/li>\n<li>Define strategy for relating with each customer group and create a Customer Relationship Plan per group.<\/li>\n<li>Collate client \u2013 specific intelligence and produce weekly reports.<\/li>\n<li>Interfacing with industry regulators and follow up on submitted tenders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Person Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good University Degree<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in Technical Sales in the Upstream subsector of the oil and gas industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ideal candidate should have met at least a USD2.5 million annual sales target<\/li>\n<li>A good knowledge of up-coming and on-going key projects in the upstream sector of the Oil and Gas Sector.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated<\/li>\n<li>Good written, presentation and oral communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience of working with minimum supervision<\/li>\n<li>Charismatic, social, responsible, passionate about the job.<\/li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of the Nigerian Oil Industry (Upstream sector)<\/li>\n<li>Proven sales contacts in the Upstream sector of Nigeria\u2019s oil and gas industry<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of winning businesses and meeting targets<\/li>\n<li>Business intelligence gathering skills<\/li>\n<li>Proven clients account management experience in the Upstream sector of Nigeria\u2019s Oil and Gas industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their updated CV as an attachment (not a link) to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:manpower@belloil.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>manpower@belloil.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Candidate with business development experience in the downstream sector of the oil &amp; gas industry will not be shortlisted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bell Oil &amp; Gas was incorporated in January 2002 and has experienced unprecedented growth in the Nigerian oil industry.
