We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Supply Chain Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Supply Chain Manager will coordinate the procurement of uLesson Group hardware and<\/li>\n<li>merchandise, and carry out various supply chain monitoring and coordination functions including delivery, warehousing, asset management, maintenance as well as after sales support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with manufacturers, buyers, and suppliers to source products.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate contracts with buyers, manufacturers, suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Improve the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process.<\/li>\n<li>Manage risks (for example operational or reputational) that could affect or interrupt the supply chain.<\/li>\n<li>Implement new technologies and stay alert to new trends and developments in the sector.<\/li>\n<li>Support and participate in promotional activities;<\/li>\n<li>Analysing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and develop new and existing relationships with suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate manufacturing and delivery processes<\/li>\n<li>Plan and implement logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met<\/li>\n<li>Warehouse and Inventory Management; coordinate handling, distribution and storage of products<\/li>\n<li>Use relevant software to track goods from origin to delivery<\/li>\n<li>Prepare periodic forecasts and inventory reports for accurate record-keeping and analysis<\/li>\n<li>Understand customer and business needs to provide commercially viable business incentives and initiatives i.e. merchandise for retail and enterprise sales at competitive prices to maximise the Company\u2019s profits<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Finance to ensure integrated and harmonised operational systems and ensure that internal controls are achieved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Finance, Business, Logistics, Supply Management or a relevant course<\/li>\n<li>Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and Inventory management software.<\/li>\n<li>Previous work experience as a Supply Chain Manager, or similar role will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of the foundational principles of logistics<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communicator<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiation skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their updated CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:people@ulesson.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>people@ulesson.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using &#8220;Supply Chain Manager&#8221; as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>uLesson is a venture-backed education technology business whose mission is to enable African learners to reach their maximum potential by making high-quality digital education services widely accessible.
