Pack \u2019N\u2019 Pay was created as a product that would leverage technology to solve the problems of retailers and wholesalers. Pack \u2018N\u2019 Pay officially started operations on January 18th, 2021and launched her e-commerce website on March 1st, 2021. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Financial Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As the Accountant, you are responsible for financial reporting,accounting operations, and compliance with all financial regulations and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a high service to clients and other stakeholders and take responsibility for and lead the company&#8217;s day-to-day financial and accounting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.<\/li>\n<li>Manage all accounting operations, including Account receivables and Payables, General Ledger, and Revenue Recognition.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the Preparation and publishing of timely financial statements and other regulatory Reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate month-end and close year-end Process.<\/li>\n<li>Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with accounting standards, rules and regulations, taxes, policies, and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Standardize and streamline accounting operations.<\/li>\n<li>Implement proper internal controls, coordinate audit processes, and ensure the accuracy of financial information.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare the statement of accounting policies for the audited financials in compliance with the IFRS.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all reports adhere to Accounting standards, rules, regulations, local filing requirements, and Accounting best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Development and implementation of a formal risk management framework.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with CIT, VAT, and other local taxes.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Management and tracking of inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system consultants<\/li>\n<li>Post all Payroll entries<\/li>\n<li>Any other assigned responsibilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MSc or BSc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant Degree<\/li>\n<li>4 &#8211; 5 years work experience as an Accountant in a competitive business entity.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of Accounting regulations and procedures including the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical and computing skills<\/li>\n<li>Professional Qualificationsuch as ICAN, ACCA, and CPA is mandatory.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools, advanced Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Oral and Written skills.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with accounting software like Quickbook.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Applications and CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:packnpayhr@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>packnpayhr@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>19th September, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pack \u2018N\u2019 Pay is a product of CIC Integrated Services LTD.
