We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Sous Chef<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitors and supervises the production and distribution of food served in the hospital.<\/li>\n<li>Produces the recipes and production orders for the kitchen staff, and oversees the quality of the food.<\/li>\n<li>Delegates as appropriate to develop subordinates to accept responsibility and meet clearly defined goals and objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Displays exceptional leadership by providing a positive work environment, counselling employees as appropriate and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to management<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates with team members to plan and develop recipes and menus, taking into account, such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and number of customers.<\/li>\n<li>Determines how food should be presented, and create decorative food displays, while ensuring compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.<\/li>\n<li>Establishes and enforces a comprehensive set of food safety regulations, both in the kitchen and in the food service areas.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzes recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labor, and overhead costs.<\/li>\n<li>Meet with customers to discuss menus for special occasions such as weddings, parties, and banquets.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate planning, budgeting, and purchasing for all the food operations within establishment.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guideline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 5 &#8211; 15 years relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of all food sections<\/li>\n<li>Ability to produce good quality food<\/li>\n<li>Good oral communication<\/li>\n<li>Team management skills<\/li>\n<li>High level of attention to details<\/li>\n<li>Good level of numeracy<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you<\/li>\n<li>Adaptablity to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work<\/li>\n<li>Positive and approachable manner<\/li>\n<li>Team player qualities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:career@dedahospital.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>career@dedahospital.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hrdedahospital@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>hrdedahospital@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>25th September, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DEDA Hospital is a leading Nigerian healthcare provision facility with a history of successful health outcomes for our clients.
