We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Commercial Operations Manager \u2013 Oilfield Services &amp; Equipment<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Requisition ID:<\/strong> R99277<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job type:<\/strong> Full time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Partner with the Best<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will prepare proposals\/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>As Commercial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Develop Winning Proposals:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participating and contributing in early engagement sesssions.<\/li>\n<li>Developing strategies to win profitable business from customers and aligning these with Account Executives when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Sales in liaising with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors in order to prepare the submission and pricing.<\/li>\n<li>Developing proposals, negotiating with customers, ensuring deals deliver shareholder value, driving competitive pricing. This includes compiling and submitting required tender documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Handling diverse clients in a region, and regional focus on large size territory.<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to frameworks for prices and conditions. Identify when there is room for negotiating and consider and communicate client specific conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Using your project management skills to position the organization for winning business including the largest projects in the region.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting research and brainstorming key points to include in the bid, from a differentiation standpoint and upsell standpoint.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ensure the Commercial Process is strictly followed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with the sales organization to use online tools and ensure all risks are properly identified, captured, and approved.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Sales organization follow the Baker Hughes policies and all approvals are granted prior to submission.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure documents \/ contracts are properly reviewed by relevant support functions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure won contracts are properly handed over to operations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure tender CPS include price benchmarking and upsell strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuel your Passion<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>To be successful in this role you will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration (or equivalent).<\/li>\n<li>Have at least 3 years of experience in Proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Understand general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.<\/li>\n<li>Have sound oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Be comfortable with Excel and office 365 digital platforms<\/li>\n<li>Experience in developing Commercial proposals and negotiating for Oil &amp; Gas Customers.<\/li>\n<li>Have experience in analyzing, translating and completing complex bids\/proposals and contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Be able to demonstrate Project Management skills, planning capability, and team working.
