You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company\u2019s finances.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the junior accountant\u2019s day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded<\/li>\n<li>Update accounts receivable and issue invoices<\/li>\n<li>Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned<\/li>\n<li>Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit weekly\/monthly reports<\/li>\n<li>Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly\/yearly closings<\/li>\n<li>Assist with other accounting projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc \/ BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field with 1-3 years experience.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a junior accountant<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizing abilities<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must reside within the mainland.<\/li>\n<li>Great attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP)<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN100,000 &#8211; N150,000 \/ Month.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send a copy of their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:imeh.adaise@maxitechglobal.com\">imeh.adaise@maxitechglobal.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and copy\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:olamilekan.sule@maxitechglobal.com\">olamilekan.sule@maxitechglobal.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>20th September, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maxitech Global is your one-stop shop for all your IT needs, computers, laptops, and gadgets at the best prices in Nigeria.
