We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Junior Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Victoria Island, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Functionally Reports into:<\/strong> Head, Finance &amp; Accounts<br \/>\n<strong>Administratively reports to<\/strong>: Head, Finance &amp; Accounts<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To perform the financial management functions in Montaigne AH Limited.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keeps record to conform with tax law and to provide financial data for the management of Montaigne Business<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that costs and revenue are properly captured<\/li>\n<li>Make adequate provision for cost, Bank Charges, etc<\/li>\n<li>Maintain Asset Register and compute monthly depreciation<\/li>\n<li>Prepares income tax and other government report<\/li>\n<li>Prepares weekly creditors and debtors schedule<\/li>\n<li>Prepares report of daily bank lodgement<\/li>\n<li>Prepares report of daily bank balances<\/li>\n<li>Administer and reconcile all bank accounts, investigating any irregularities, and taking appropriate action (escalate when necessary).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Indicators:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Error free reconciliation statement<\/li>\n<li>Satisfaction of internal customers<\/li>\n<li>Level of adherence to accounting operating procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Education Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc. or HND in Accounting or related discipline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Sound accounting knowledge<\/li>\n<li>SAGE pastel Skills<\/li>\n<li>IT skills<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@montaigneplace.com\">careers@montaigneplace.com<\/a><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>29th September, 2023<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Montaigne Place is Nigeria&#8217;s largest luxury skincare, cosmetic, fragrance, and well-being retail company.
