We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance Lead<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Finance Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting<\/li>\n<li>Research technical accounting issues for compliance<\/li>\n<li>Support month-end and year-end close process<\/li>\n<li>Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings<\/li>\n<li>Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls<\/li>\n<li>Additional controller duties as necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Management, Science.<\/li>\n<li>ACCA \/ ICAN preferred<\/li>\n<li>Proven working experience as a Finance Lead<\/li>\n<li>7+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Experience with creating financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end\/year end close process<\/li>\n<li>Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:talent@riverbrandenergy.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>talent@riverbrandenergy.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>22nd September, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RiverBrand Energy Limited is a key participant in international oil markets with a significant presence in the West African region, and direct access to major energy markets across Africa.
