We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head of Production<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking to hire an experienced and dynamic Head of Production to lead their manufacturing operations in the PVC section of the plastic recycling industry.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate will have a strong production management and maintenance background, ensuring the recycling facility&#8217;s efficient and smooth operation.<\/li>\n<li>This role requires exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and sustainability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee all aspects of the production process, including material handling, processing, and quality control.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to optimize efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure production goals and targets are met while maintaining high product quality.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the maintenance department and its personnel to ensure the facility and equipment are well-maintained and operational.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the implementation of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies within the production department to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Identify areas for waste reduction, process optimization, and cost-saving opportunities using Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Train and mentor production staff in the use of Six Sigma tools and techniques, such as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and statistical process control (SPC).<\/li>\n<li>Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities to minimize production disruptions.<\/li>\n<li>Enforce and promote a strong safety culture throughout the production facility.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular safety training for production and maintenance staff.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and motivate a diverse team of production and maintenance professionals.<\/li>\n<li>Set clear performance expectations, provide coaching and mentorship, and conduct performance evaluations.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven analysis to measure the impact of process improvements and ensure sustained results.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>M.Sc in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field (preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Engineering or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>7+ years of experience in a production management role within the plastic recycling or related industry.<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in maintenance management, including knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control processes.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent leadership and team management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and optimize production efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Cover Letter to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitmentsolutions@trussugavi.site\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>recruitmentsolutions@trussugavi.site<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using &#8220;Head of Production &#8211; PVC&#8221; as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>29th September, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Truss Ugavi is a Supply Chain Advisory Firm that provides solutions to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as well as Large organizations towards ensuring end-to-end business growth and profitability by&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Truss Ugavi Limited Current Job Opportunity - Apply Now!
