We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Operator Trainee<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Apapa, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The RTG operator role deploys assigned RTG crane to carryout all discharges and loading of TUEs within allocated shift.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Execution (Stacking, Sorting, Loading &amp; Off-loading):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operates the RTG crane to load and unload containers to and from internal and external road trucks in the Terminal.<\/li>\n<li>Reports all the defects as and when noticed to RTG Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Carries out duties and tasks in an efficient, productive manner.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other related duties as required.<\/li>\n<li>Acts as foreman under Hook when not operating the RTG Cranes.<\/li>\n<li>Navigates the RTG according to the Traffic Management Plan and Yard Supervisor and equipment handling instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Handles the containers with care (Avoid Rough handling on Trucks).<\/li>\n<li>Performs equipment precheck at beginning of shift to ensure that all of the parts are operating properly.<\/li>\n<li>Operates the RTG safely according to the received instructions \/ information from the Yard Supervisor while carrying out all RTG activities (Discharge, load, Re-Stow etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Achieves all agreed targets productivity with Zero Accident<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Safety &amp; Compliance:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follows safe operating procedures and instructions, preventing any injury to persons, or damage to containers and other equipment and property.<\/li>\n<li>Identifies and reports any safety problems, malfunctions, or damage to quay crane equipment, before, during or after the shift.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/7LYXS7L1kY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And<br \/>\nSend their updated CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@tict-ng.com\"><strong>recruitment@tict-ng.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tincan Island Container Terminal is a subsidiary of a multinational\/global entity in the maritime sector.
