We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Safety Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Agbara, Ogun<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure that all safety regulations of the company are strictly adhered to by all staff and contractors working within the company.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate accidents and submit reports to management for corrective actions.<\/li>\n<li>The Environment and Safety Manager will provide the plant with a comprehensive and professional environment and occupational health and safety system.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance to environment and safety systems, standards, and work practices to achieve targets set for the environment and safety pillars as well as the environment and safety KPI\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li>To Ensure that all equipment within the plant is operated safely at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support service to top Management.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of an efficient and dedicated workforce.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for monitoring workers\u2019 compliance with safety regulations and making recommendations on all safety matters.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for monitoring activities within the work environment with a view to preventing accidents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of B.Sc \/ B.Tech \/ HND in Electrical, Mechanical or Environmental Science.<\/li>\n<li>Proven Leadership Ability<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in an FMCG or Manufacturing company<\/li>\n<li>Experience in both safety and environment management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:martins.atat@africanindustries.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">martins.atat@africanindustries.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>25th October, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>African Industries Group (AIG) is a diversified global conglomerate with a legacy of 51 years of business excellence and sustainable growth.
