We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Hostess<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lekki Phase I, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type<\/strong>: Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are seeking enthusiastic and welcoming hostesses to join our Restaurant and Lounge.<\/li>\n<li>As a hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable first impression.<\/li>\n<li>Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and coordinating with waitstaff to ensure a smooth dining experience.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a friendly demeanour and enjoy providing exceptional hospitality, we invite you to be a part of our hospitality team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and prioritize guest reservations, ensuring efficient seating arrangements.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate estimated wait times to guests and offer comfortable waiting areas if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and assisting with seating preferences.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a clean and organized waiting area, ensuring it is tidy and well-presented.<\/li>\n<li>Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries, reservation requests, and general information.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with waitstaff to manage the flow of guests and ensure efficient table turnovers.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in managing the reservation book, including recording guest details and special requests.<\/li>\n<li>Inform guests of any special promotions, events, or menu changes.<\/li>\n<li>Thank guests for their visit as they depart and invite them to return.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 4 years experience as a hostess in a similar customer-facing role.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Friendly and welcoming demeanour with a strong customer service orientation.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to remain calm and courteous under high-pressure situations.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in using reservation management software is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must be able to commute conveniently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@1stepahead.group\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>info@1stepahead.group<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>9th October, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One StepAhead Consulting is your one-stop-shop HR Solutions Provider, helping you turn your business goals into reality with our comprehensive suite of strategic HR Solutions.
