Facilities and services provided include: emergency care, surgical, medical, internal medicine, family medicine, renal care, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, pathology, physiotherapy radiology and pharmacy. Skilled and professional staff form the foundation of a well-run hospital. The hospital will provide up-to-date facilities and services allowing our medical professionals to work efficiently and effectively. Applications are invited from interested candidates who are customer-focused and dedicated to above-standard patient care to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Laboratory Technician<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Department<\/strong>: Allied Health Services<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary of Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for operation of the laboratory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>WASSCE \/ SSCE \/ or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Diploma or higher preferred<\/li>\n<li>1 &#8211; 2 years medical laboratory experience preferably in a private healthcare environment<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of medical laboratory principles, standards, applications and tests.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of medical laboratory safety, cleanliness and infection control policies and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of medical laboratory equipment uses and maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly and pays attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English<\/li>\n<li>Proficient ability to use a computer and electronic medical record.<\/li>\n<li>Customers service oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
