Facilities and services provided include: emergency care, surgical, medical, internal medicine, family medicine, renal care, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, pathology, physiotherapy radiology and pharmacy. Skilled and professional staff form the foundation of a well-run hospital. The hospital will provide up-to-date facilities and services allowing our medical professionals to work efficiently and effectively. Applications are invited from interested candidates who are customer-focused and dedicated to above-standard patient care to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Technical Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Technical and Maintenance<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are seeking to employ suitably qualified technical assistant responsible for undertaking a variety of general maintenance tasks, efficiently and to a high standard, working both as a member of a team or alone.<\/li>\n<li>Keep accurate records of maintenance completed.<\/li>\n<li>Provide basic technical assistance such as the setting up and cleaning of equipment, setting parameters, checking doses, and overseeing processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess an WASSCE\/SSCE or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Relevant technical certificate\/training or 1 \u2013 3 years previous work experience in the position preferably in healthcare or health services.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with basic computer programs including MS Office and database systems.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of email systems, computer hardware, and peripherals.<\/li>\n<li>High level of administrative skills,<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under strict supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret technical data.<\/li>\n<li>Good time-management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a high-pressure environment<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates strong organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Previous general maintenance experience in a hospital environment would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to engage various stakeholders and must be able to deliver exceptional customer service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hosman.co.za\/apply-to-port-harcourt-hospital\/?source=HotNigerianJobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>22nd October, 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please attach your short CV and other relevant documents to your application via the link provided.<\/li>\n<li>Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates.
