We cater to the demography currently undeserved by the Commercial banks in our aim to help increase financial inclusion of the Nigerian population. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Function<\/strong>: Product Management<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type<\/strong>: Full Time<br \/>\n<strong>Experience level<\/strong>: Mid\/Senior<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are currently pivoting to a full service digital bank\/Neobank by launching mkobobank.com. Our goal is to help hard working people to grow their wealth by making it easy for them to earn, save, spend and invest their hard earned money.<\/li>\n<li>We are currently recruiting for a dynamic, creative, flexible and experienced QA Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated test to ensure product quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Test mobile applications across various platforms (iOS and Android) to identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality<\/li>\n<li>Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases<\/li>\n<li>Monitor debugging process results<\/li>\n<li>Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved<\/li>\n<li>Test current products and identify deficiencies<\/li>\n<li>Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts<\/li>\n<li>Develop and monitor performance metrics for all stages of the production process<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements and ensure consistent project execution<\/li>\n<li>Plan, create and manage the overall quality planning strategy<\/li>\n<li>Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement<\/li>\n<li>Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies<\/li>\n<li>Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback<\/li>\n<li>Leverage automation capability for API testing<\/li>\n<li>Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools<\/li>\n<li>Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs<\/li>\n<li>Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved<\/li>\n<li>Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies<\/li>\n<li>Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements<\/li>\n<li>Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases<\/li>\n<li>Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject<\/li>\n<li>3+ years experience as QA Software Engineer<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with native Android and IOS development frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes<\/li>\n<li>Proven work experience in software development and quality assurance<\/li>\n<li>Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing, hands-on experience with automated testing tools<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in an Agile\/Scrum development process<\/li>\n<li>Experience with performance and\/or security testing<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with different types of testing (functional, regression, integration, etc.) and related techniques<\/li>\n<li>Know and understand the rules of creating a good API, how http works, and how to create JSON\/XML files.<\/li>\n<li>Proven work experience in the\u00a0use of\u00a0tools that are good for particular test tasks (Charles, Postman, JMeter, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Must be familiar with programming skills like Java, Python, or Javascript.<\/li>\n<li>Must be experienced in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in developing automated test systems<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Agile\/Scrum methodologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Must have skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting<\/li>\n<li>Dev Ops &amp; UI\/UX design and analytic skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in developing automated test systems Java, Python, or Javascript<\/li>\n<li>Analytical skill testing tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Good to have skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in developing automated test systems<\/li>\n<li>DevOps skill.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hris.peoplehum.com\/ehire\/jobs\/e4f00241-b790-473a-a0a7-e99f73cf8c08\/17fbb428-96f5-4b1f-9a30-3b44e57ce43c?source_name=PEOPLEHUM_EXTERNAL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MKOBO is a fully licensed Microfinance bank by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Lagos, Nigeria.
