We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Family Physician (Surgical)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Kainji, Niger<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Family Physician who reports directly to the Head of Medicine, will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care by examining patients and treating diseases.<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent will be responsible for patients&#8217; routine check-ups as well as non-emergency medical situations that arise; and undertake tasks aimed for prevention and promotion of healthy habits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct routine check-ups to patients to assess their health conditions and discover possible issues.<\/li>\n<li>Take emergency calls, admit and manage inpatients as well as running outpatient clinic.<\/li>\n<li>Give appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene, etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct examinations to ill patients and evaluate symptoms to determine patients&#8217; conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Ask intuitive questions to discover the causes of illness.<\/li>\n<li>Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient\u2019s medical history.<\/li>\n<li>Prescribe and interpret lab test results to obtain more information for underlying infections or abnormalities.<\/li>\n<li>Do ward rounds for medical patients.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other additional tasks assigned to you.<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible for personal career development and keeping abreast with the latest knowledge and research in your field.<\/li>\n<li>Keep your medical practicing licenses current and your file updated with the HR office annually.<\/li>\n<li>Understand and adhere to the reporting\/escalation lines.<\/li>\n<li>Prescribe medications or drugs and provide comprehensive instructions for administration.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with other physicians, physician assistants, and nurses to form a high-performing medical team.<\/li>\n<li>Examine and provide treatments to injuries and refer patients to specialists where needed (ophthalmologist, orthopaedist, neurologist, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Keep records of patients&#8217; diseases, operations, or other significant information (e.g., allergic episodes) on Helium plus.<\/li>\n<li>Make use of patient health data in medical analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients.<\/li>\n<li>Remain up-to-speed with developments and best practices in medicine by attending conferences and seminars.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hierarchy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This role reports to the Head of Medicine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) registered with MDCN with a valid practicing license.<\/li>\n<li>Must have a Post Graduate \/ Residency qualification in Family Medicine.<\/li>\n<li>Respect for patient confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>Compassionate and approachable.<\/li>\n<li>Valid and active medical license.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Must have Surgical Skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a Family Physician.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms, and epidemiology.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medical best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent quantitative skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN1,000,000 Monthly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@cedarcresthospitals.com\">careers@cedarcresthospitals.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>22nd October, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cedarcrest Hospitals Limited is a private multispecialty hospital group with Headquarters in Gudu, Abuja.
