We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Communications Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement agreed communication strategies to enhance the reputation of TEC.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Senior Communications Officer to monitor and enhance the overall image of TEC.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as first contact and knowledge base internally and externally regarding all communication issues.<\/li>\n<li>Attend relevant external events to provide media support and in-house coverage of the events.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate press events (physical, on radio, TV, or the Internet) where and when required.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Digital media manager to ensure that communication content is optimized for search engines.<\/li>\n<li>Support development of TEC materials.<\/li>\n<li>Manage TEC\u2019s email communications and SMS platforms across all expressions. Implement best practices for effective email marketing and advertising.<\/li>\n<li>Review internal and external communications with a view to ensure accuracy, good language and brand consistency. This includes, but is not limited to books, devotionals, magazines, online platforms, publicity materials etc.<\/li>\n<li>Produce content for distribution through several information channels and platforms. Content could be gathered through several mechanisms.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake copywriting for church communications.<\/li>\n<li>Write press releases and other journalistic materials.<\/li>\n<li>Develop engaging stories for use across at TEC expressions or media platforms where required, with a view to building audience across all expressions and platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Implement the publicity strategy of the church. Ensure that all publicity media and materials are properly produced, maintained, and updated with current information.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain extensive and positive relationships with national and international media.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree from a reputable university.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates creative and critical thinking skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong relationship management skills.<\/li>\n<li>A dedicated Christian, positive attitude, self-starter, assertive, committed to excellence, and feels a calling to help fulfil the church\u2019s mission<\/li>\n<li>Professional and positive approach, team player<\/li>\n<li>Preferably 3 years\u2019 experience in communications and media management.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with cross-functional teams<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with a high-performance team in a communications\/publicity capacity<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with production, social media, communications, or publicity management teams<\/li>\n<li>Proven writing and editing skills.
