We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Senior Accountant &#8211; Nigeria<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref ID:<\/strong> #LI-DNI<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position will oversee the ADM Nigerian branch from the accounting perspectives including month- end closing activities, balance sheet reconciliation and statutory reporting, preparing documents to audit check and controls assets, cost and expenses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full Bookkeeping process (booking of all invoices, any needed or request accruals\/provisions, management of assets and depreciations\/amortizations, all statements of financial position)<\/li>\n<li>Monthly &#8211; end closing and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Asset control, Costing and expense optimization, Expense control by cost center, Monthly analysis with PY and BUD<\/li>\n<li>Balance Sheet Reconciliations monthly with accounts movements backgrounds<\/li>\n<li>Process Optimization of current working<\/li>\n<li>Price Transfer Documentation<\/li>\n<li>Year End Audit and Statutory reporting<\/li>\n<li>Group Policies understanding and control<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of Reports, Schedules and Statements as may be required by the Finance Controller.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Degree in Accounting \/ Economics \/ or related field<\/li>\n<li>5 &#8211; 9 years of post-graduate professional experience in accountancy<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in the English language (written and spoken)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical skills and experience in reporting<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership skills and strong teamwork.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in preparing balance sheet, month- end closing activities, statutory reporting as well as hands-on experience in booking of invoices and asset management<\/li>\n<li>Experience in work in international company<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of compliance importance<\/li>\n<li>Professional Accounting Qualification such as ACA, ACCA, and CIMA will be a plus<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Excel (pivot, vlookup)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in work with ERP (SAP nice to have)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Future Perspective:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Challenging tasks, short decision-making processes and a high level of personal responsibility in a modern work environment with flexible work time models<\/li>\n<li>Room for innovative thinking and growth with the possibility to manage your own career path.<\/li>\n<li>A company culture that promotes continuous learning and diversity.
