We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Human Resources (HR) \/ Administrative Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Apapa, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and coordinate administrative activities and daily operations of the firm.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations of all constituted government authorities<\/li>\n<li>Manage the firm\u2019s Social media handles for visibility, content creation etc.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, managing the hiring process, and ensuring the right staff is recruited for the right position and function<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Prepare orientation\/on-boarding program for newly recruited staff regarding the company&#8217;s policies, processes, and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment<\/li>\n<li>Identify and assess current and future training needs and develop training and development plans<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update company databases and organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents<\/li>\n<li>Liaising and building relationships with vendors in respect of business transactions with the organization and creating cost-efficient contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes<\/li>\n<li>Initiate employee performance periodically and develop staff appraisal systems<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adequate control over the use of all firm\u2019s assets as well as their safety.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting firm-wide problem resolution and decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating schedules, arranging meetings, distributing memos and reports and ensuring that everyone is kept current of necessary company news and information<\/li>\n<li>Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess HND \/ Bachelor&#8217;s Degrees with 2 &#8211; 5 years relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their updated CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:ftawosika@tigershipping.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ftawosika@tigershipping.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>30th November, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tiger Shipping Agencies Limited is a leading Supply Chain, Logistics and Maritime Services provider with our head office and centralized customer support hub located in Lagos, Nigeria.
