We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Technical Assistant for Education and Youth Empowerment in the Northwestern Nigeria (EYEPINN)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reference number: INTPA \/ ABV \/ 2023 \/ EA-RP \/ 0145<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Indicative start date of the project:<\/strong> Q2 2024<br \/>\n<strong>Project duration:<\/strong> 48 months<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Short Description of Services to be Provided<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Overall, the task of the Technical Assistance Team (TAT) will include but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Policy and technical advice to the Ministry of Education (MoE) in the performance of their specific assignment;<\/li>\n<li>Transfer of knowledge and skills including capacity development of officials in the Ministries Department and Agencies (MDA&#8217;s) responsible for Education Services delivery through training, coaching, &amp; mentoring;<\/li>\n<li>Administrative, preparatory and ancillary tasks relating to planning, monitoring and reporting on programme activities;<\/li>\n<li>Secretariat and administrative support to the programme governance structure at the national and at the local levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Indicative Key Expert Profiles:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Key expert 2, 3, 4: Education and skills experts (one Key Expert for each of the 3 target States &#8211; Kano, Jigawa, Sokoto).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Education, Development Studies, Organisational Development, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline is required;<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills in English- written and spoken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>General Professional Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preferably at least 5 years general experience in institutional strengthening and capacity development or strategic management or project and programme management in sectors related to education, skills development and training;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific Professional Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years working experience in education and capacity development, preferably in technical advisory capacity;<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working in federal education systems is an added advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of local languages in Northern Nigeria is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years\u2019 experience in one or more of the following areas: strengthening of teacher training systems or curriculum development or governance reform or VET reform or non-formal education or addressing out-of-school children\/acceleration programmes or sector strategy development.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the education sector and\/or education reform projects and programmes in one of the three target States: Jigawa, Sokoto and Kano<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/phf.tbe.taleo.net\/phf04\/ats\/careers\/v2\/viewRequisition?org=DAINC&amp;cws=48&amp;rid=8394\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>31st October, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Development Alternatives Incorporated (DAI) is an international development company.
