We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Mechanical and Electrical Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full Time<br \/>\n<strong>Job Category:<\/strong> Operations<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems to\u00a0ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for students and staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems to ensure optimal temperature and air quality within the school buildings.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the maintenance of school equipment and appliances that require electrical or mechanical expertise.<\/li>\n<li>Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical problems promptly to minimize disruptions to school operations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all mechanical and electrical systems meet safety and compliance standards.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for energy conservation and recommend improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the development and management of the mechanical and electrical department\u2019s budget.<\/li>\n<li>Provide training to staff on safety procedures and the proper use of mechanical and electrical equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification, Experience and Knowledge<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Professional engineering license<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is desired.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant work experience in mechanical and electrical engineering.<\/li>\n<li>High-level computer literacy skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in engineering software, including CAD programs, simulation tools and data analysis software is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and energy conservation practices.<\/li>\n<li>Adherence to ethical standards and professional conduct.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/charterhouselagos.com\/career\/me_engineer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Charterhouse aims to create a British-style international school reflecting the heritage and culture of the great UK independent schools.
