We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Facility Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full Time<br \/>\n<strong>Job Category<\/strong>: Facilities Management<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The School Facility Manager oversees all aspects of our school\u2019s physical facilities and infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>This role is critical in ensuring that the school\u2019s buildings, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained, safe, and conducive to learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The School Facility Manager oversees all aspects of our school\u2019s physical facilities and infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring that the school\u2019s buildings, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained, safe, and conducive to learning.<\/li>\n<li>Facility Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure all buildings, classrooms, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained and in optimal condition.<\/li>\n<li>Safety and Security: Work with the Head of Security and safeguard the school community and property.<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting and Planning: Prepare and manage the facility budget, including cost estimation for maintenance and repairs, and plan for future facility improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Vendor Management: Oversee contracts and relationships with external service providers, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to school standards.<\/li>\n<li>Compliance: Ensure the school\u2019s facilities comply with relevant local building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and school policies.<\/li>\n<li>Inventory Control: Maintain an inventory of school facility tools equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely replacements and repairs when necessary. Ensure items are accounted for and secured overnight, implementing a sign-in and sign-out system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in facility management, preferably in an educational institution or a similar large-scale organization.<\/li>\n<li>Health &amp; Safety Qualification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing facility-related challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders, including staff, parents, and external contractors.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.<\/li>\n<li>Effective organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/charterhouselagos.com\/career\/facility_manager\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Charterhouse aims to create a British-style international school reflecting the heritage and culture of the great UK independent schools.
