We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Quality Control Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type<\/strong>: Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The duties of quality control officers, are to read blueprints and specifications of the products they are creating. Quality control officers are responsible for testing materials and finished products to ensure they conform to all applicable laws and company standards. Quality control officers test products across the three stages of production (before, in-process, and final) to ensure quality levels are met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They need to be intimately familiar with the production process from start to finish.<\/li>\n<li>They should also be aware of each person&#8217;s role in the production process and what each machine does.<\/li>\n<li>Quality control officers monitor operations to be sure that they meet the quality assurance standards that have been set.<\/li>\n<li>They recommend adjustments to the process to ensure the same level of quality is maintained.<\/li>\n<li>As products are produced, quality control technicians inspect, measure, and otherwise evaluate them to be sure they are of adequate quality.<\/li>\n<li>Quality control technicians are also tasked with accepting or rejecting finished items at the end of the production process. Any items that do not meet specifications are removed from the output so that they not sent to customers.<\/li>\n<li>They examined further to aid in determining what can be done better the next time.<\/li>\n<li>Quality control technicians are also responsible for reporting on their findings and for keeping careful logs of what they observe.<\/li>\n<li>Gaining an understanding of the client&#8217;s needs and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the production teams.<\/li>\n<li>Devising, improving, and reviewing new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and training staff to use them.<\/li>\n<li>Setting the requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Academic Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Eng. in Mechanical \/ Electrical<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3-5 years relevant experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Skills &amp; Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge of Heavy-duty Diesel\/Gas<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of Generator parts and Engines.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of test equipment<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Very attractive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their tailored CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:apply@alfred-victoria.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">apply@alfred-victoria.com<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>using the job title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0 <\/strong>14th November, 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Any application received after this will be automatically rejected<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alfred &amp; Victoria Associates is one of Nigeria\u2019s leading ICT solution-based companies.
