We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Sound Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ibadan, Oyo<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type: <\/strong>Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Brief<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for a competent Sound Engineer to record, mix and edit music and audio for our productions. You will set up and operate sound equipment in live events, recordings or post-productions to ensure the best acoustic result.<\/li>\n<li>Sound engineers are deft around sensitive audio equipment and experts in using them to produce quality sound. We expect you to be knowledgeable about different audio recording and editing techniques. If you also possess a creative mind and a good ear we\u2019d like to hear from you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow instructions and details from directors, producers, etc<\/li>\n<li>Set up and test sound equipment before events, broadcasts, or recordings<\/li>\n<li>Record, edit, and mix audio tracks (instruments, vocals, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Enhance the sound quality and add sound effects to recordings<\/li>\n<li>Work with video editors to synchronize video with audio tracks<\/li>\n<li>Play backing tracks and special effects during live events<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with lighting, camera, and other people<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain sound libraries<\/li>\n<li>Resolve technical issues when they arise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma; A Degree in Audio \/ Sound Engineering or related field is a plus<\/li>\n<li>3 years work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a sound engineer<\/li>\n<li>Marketing skill<\/li>\n<li>Residence in Ibadan<\/li>\n<li>Driving experience<\/li>\n<li>Technical expertise in sound engineering techniques (e.g. equalization)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with sound editing and recording equipment (e.g. mixing consoles)<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of recording software and hardware (e.g. Pro Tools)<\/li>\n<li>Creativity and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving abilities<\/li>\n<li>Excellent hearing and manual dexterity<\/li>\n<li>A team player with excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should\u00a0send their Application and CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:showersofblessings111@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">showersofblessings111@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the job title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>9th November, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SOBIC and Company is a rapidly expanding, opportunity-creating, and customer-focused microfinance Institution (MFI) in Nigeria.
