We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: IT Quality Assurance Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Yaba, Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop comprehensive QA strategies and methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular updates on QA progress and metrics to stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, update and ensure implementation of the quality assurance guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain the testing plan according to the quality assurance guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that test scenarios and scripts are prepared in a structured way, prioritised to reflect business or technical priorities and are approved by appropriate stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Scheduling testing activities and providing budget forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Automate the testing processes and ensure continuous improvement over time<\/li>\n<li>Providing feedback to the development team<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with suppliers\/partners, teams and team leaders when needed<\/li>\n<li>Be a key player in the solution delivery lifecycle process<\/li>\n<li>Implement test automation across all critical application<\/li>\n<li>Implement CI\/CD tools across the QA lifecycle<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the effectiveness of the quality assurance guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Providing feedback to all stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Conducting risk assessments in the testing phase<\/li>\n<li>Perform continuous testing and upgrades when required<\/li>\n<li>Creating and implementing new test strategies<\/li>\n<li>Take part in the first-line support in the post-go-live phase<\/li>\n<li>Deliver training sessions when applicable (prepare materials)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Team coordination:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate the team<\/li>\n<li>Manage schedules and workloads of team members<\/li>\n<li>Plan training and support, implement process improvements when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Compile reports to track process efficiency, personnel performance and adherence to established service level targets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business Knowledge Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain and develop deep knowledge of CBS&#8217;s products, parameters and processes and applications.<\/li>\n<li>Document software, features and processes when required<\/li>\n<li>Provide information about the products and processes in the bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a B.Sc in Computer Science, Economics or related discipline with experience<\/li>\n<li>At least 6 years hands-on relevant professional experience in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>A strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies and tools used in Waterfall, Agile and V-model methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record in Testing Management experience working in an Agile\/scrum context.<\/li>\n<li>Quality Assurance, Test Management, and Test Strategy skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Software Quality Assurance and Software Development methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Experience in leading a team of quality assurance testers<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership and project management skills<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of business processes and\/or Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Require effective prioritisation, time management, team spirit, and organisational abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding structured test methods and processes<\/li>\n<li>Excellent grasp of test metrics, release process and test environment principles<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of common software failures and faults<\/li>\n<li>Manual and Automated Testing<\/li>\n<li>Preparing concise documentation<\/li>\n<li>Being articulate and communicating effectively<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English, both in writing and orally<\/li>\n<li>Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) and payment-related protocol knowledge (e.g., ISO 8583) are preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Experience and Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior working experience with a Core Banking System (CBS) or a software package<\/li>\n<li>Background in microfinance, banking, accounting and\/or IT<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of Risk-based testing approach, use of automated testing tools is an asset<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of configuration management and change control processes is an asset<\/li>\n<li>Programming language &amp; scripting experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ng.recruitment@baobab.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>ng.recruitment@baobab.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Position as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Baobabplus NG is a subsidiary of the Multinational &#8211; Baobabgroup, a social business committed to providing access to energy and digital inclusion.
