We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job No:<\/strong> 567129<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Contract type:<\/strong> Temporary Appointment<br \/>\n<strong>Level:<\/strong> P-3<br \/>\n<strong>Categories:<\/strong> Health<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How Can You Make a Difference?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Programme Manager, Health (Programme Manager) will manage specific, multi-stakeholder health projects for the Nigeria country office focusing on designing, planning, implementing, and monitoring work plans to deliver measurable results.<\/li>\n<li>The Programme Manager will report to the Nigeria Country Office Chief of Health and will work with the Health Managers responsible for leading the primary health care (PHC) systems, immunization, and maternal, neonatal, and child health (MNCH) clusters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary of Key Functions \/ Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support to programme development and planning<\/li>\n<li>Programme management, monitoring and delivery of results<\/li>\n<li>Technical and operational support to programme implementation<\/li>\n<li>Networking and partnership building<\/li>\n<li>Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An Advanced University Degree (Master\u2019s or higher) in Health, Public Financial Management, Management, International Relations, or a closely related field is required.<\/li>\n<li>Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated knowledge of and professional experience in at least three of the following areas:\n<ul>\n<li>Management of immunization-related projects<\/li>\n<li>Contributions to health systems strengthening funding applications and programmes<\/li>\n<li>Introduction of innovations in complex contexts<\/li>\n<li>Experience and knowledge of the Nigerian context<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in a UN system agency or organization, or in a global health initiative (TGF, GAVI, GFF) or development bank<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English is required.
