We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Field Engineer II &#8211; Production Automation<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job ID:<\/strong> 2023-218698<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Category:<\/strong> Operations<br \/>\n<strong>Position Type:<\/strong> Regular Full-Time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Field Engineer II &#8211; Production Automation will provide standalone job site execution of all aspects of water cut and multiphase flow meter operations including equipment commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting and closure.<\/li>\n<li>You will also be taking on technical support function for the Field Service Supervisor and crew which may include performing meter sizing, checking technical documentation to ensure equipment is fit-for-purpose.<\/li>\n<li>You will be responsible for data collection and ensuring that all job parameters are measured, recorded and reported in the job report. You will also be expected to follow a specified learning plan that will include various computer-based learning modules as well as classroom training.<\/li>\n<li>During this phase, you may take on miscellaneous tasks as assigned to you by your Supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend classroom instructional sessions aimed at product line specific training<\/li>\n<li>Complete assigned computer-based training as per the predetermined Learning Plan.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality to increase efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Providing field support by composing job programs and procedures for customer specific location scenarios<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the shop and make deliveries when available<\/li>\n<li>Must attend all required safety training.<\/li>\n<li>Required to work on a 24 hours call basis.<\/li>\n<li>Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.<\/li>\n<li>Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.<\/li>\n<li>Perform job preparation tasks such as; measuring and documenting sales and rental items, assembly of tools per work instructions, preparation for testing, disassembly and repair of items per procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare equipment for dispatch; package and load-out<\/li>\n<li>Perform the following; pre-job briefing, on-site equipment inspection and installation per job program.<\/li>\n<li>Completion of formal job closure including; post job tool inspections, back-loading of equipment, job ticket signature, job submission to Weather Performance Tracking System (WPTS)<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and keep accurate paperwork on delivery tickets, job reports, time sheets and other similar administrative forms.<\/li>\n<li>Perform necessary pre-job calculations to validate equipment selection.<\/li>\n<li>Keep accurate paperwork of equipment used and services provided in the field.<\/li>\n<li>Have a thorough knowledge of Flow measurement (Redeye and Multiphase meter) products and services including having the ability to correctly identify all tools and components.<\/li>\n<li>Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in Field Engineering or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Should be able to work closely with internal and external customers.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated and committed to service quality a must.<\/li>\n<li>The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.<\/li>\n<li>Computer Aided Drafting (AutoCAD, Solidworks, ProE or equivalent) would be beneficial.<\/li>\n<li>Valid Drivers\u2019 License.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with flow measurement and flow automation equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Individual must be able to follow instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, etc).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to problem solve using thorough analytical skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/external-weatherford.icims.com\/jobs\/218698\/job?iis=Job+Board&amp;iisn=Indeed&amp;indeed-apply-token=73a2d2b2a8d6d5c0a62696875eaebd669103652d3f0c2cd5445d3e66b1592b0f&amp;mobile=false&amp;width=1333&amp;height=500&amp;bga=true&amp;needsRedirect=false&amp;jan1offset=60&amp;jun1offset=120&amp;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Weatherford is one of the largest multinational oilfield service companies providing innovative solutions, technology and services to the oil and gas industry.
