The disconnect between work-ready youth and the employment market must be bridged. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Account Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Oniru, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Brief<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As the restaurant account officer, you are responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of the restaurant. your primary role is to ensure accurate and organized accounting for the restaurant\u2019s financial activities.<\/li>\n<li>You perform various tasks related to financial management, record-keeping, and reporting to support the smooth operation of the restaurant\u2019s financial systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Daily:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Record &amp; reconcile POS sales and Deposits.<\/li>\n<li>Manage vendor invoices and Proper documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Weekly:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bill pays; help operators manage approval and payment for outstanding invoices.<\/li>\n<li>Record &amp; reconcile payroll.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Monthly:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reconcile bank accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Produce monthly income statements and balance sheet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Client engagement: Respond to information requests, review financial statements, and assist with audits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree \/ HND in Accounting or Finance preferred.<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years of experience managing the books for a restaurant<\/li>\n<li>Good problem-solving and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Highly organized and detail-oriented<\/li>\n<li>Self-directed \/ Strong sense of ownership<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of GAAP<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal<\/li>\n<li>Understands and values hospitality.<\/li>\n<li>Smart and motivated team player.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:jobs@waveacademies.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jobs@waveacademies.org<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WAVE is solving what is arguably the biggest challenge on the continent: youth unemployment.
