We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: IT Operations Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos (Hybrid)<br \/>\n<strong>Job type<\/strong>: Full-Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hugo has experienced tremendous growth over the last two years and to maintain this trajectory, we need to bolster our IT operations and infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>We are looking for an experienced IT enthusiast to work alongside our Global Head of IT Operations managing Hugo\u2019s day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems.<\/li>\n<li>You are the ideal candidate if you have a strong background in IT operations, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement, manage, and constantly improve a secure, stable, cost-effective, scalable, and high-performing IT infrastructure (hardware, software, network, and processes) for both WFH (work-from-home) and secure-site service delivery teams.<\/li>\n<li>Build and manage an efficient IT assets management system: end-to-end process of planning, selecting, purchasing, maintaining, tracking, and retiring of IT assets and devices.<\/li>\n<li>Support the implementation of an effective IT helpdesk ticketing and support function.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support to end-users, resolving IT-related issues promptly and efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze recurring issues and implement preventive measures to minimize future problems.<\/li>\n<li>Implement business continuity processes to minimize disruption to operations.<\/li>\n<li>Enforce IT security policies, procedures and guidelines to safeguard company data and systems.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure IT equipment and services.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate vendor performance and manage relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all IT infrastructure is fully compliant with industry standards and best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a system of KPIs and metrics to measure and monitor the effectiveness of IT operations through a single dashboard and drive continuous improvement of these metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within IT operations.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions that can enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About You<\/strong><br \/>\nThe organized professional we seek is a leader with these qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree preferred.<\/li>\n<li>A combination of relevant experience and qualifications would be accepted in lieu of a university degree in the listed fields.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Industry certifications such as Network+, Security+, ITIL, CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.<\/li>\n<li>7+ years of proven experience as an IT Operations Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Operational IT experience with a user base of 1,000+ employees would be a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Experience at a growth-stage company\/environment is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in \u2018\u2019cloud-first\u2019 and \u2018remote-first\u2019 environments.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional knowledge of technology deployments including cloud computing, endpoint management, IT helpdesk, messaging, automation and workflows, identity management, IT systems architectures, process optimization, networks, and network solutions, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the latest technological advances that could benefit the company, including information security best practices, industry trends, tools, and change management.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience with industry standards would be an asset (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 22301, SOC 2, NIST, PCI-DSS, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we Offer<\/strong><br \/>\nThe only commitment greater than the one we have to our customers is the one we have to our people:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A competitive compensation and benefits package.<\/li>\n<li>A hybrid work model.<\/li>\n<li>Large-scale Impact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/boards.eu.greenhouse.io\/hugotech\/jobs\/4242530101?source=HotNigerianJobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hugo is a vibrant start-up with a strong track record of success that is building the Future-of-Work through offshoring.
