The company has invested millions of dollars in land, building, construction of infrastructural facilities and machinery, with one goal in mind and that is to have an integrated facility encompassing the complete value chain of the soya bean business, from sourcing, processing, and extraction to the packaging and distribution of a wide range of soya products. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Accounts Officer will process all financial transactions, reconcile accounts and prepare data\/reports.<\/li>\n<li>This post involves inward\/outward invoicing, including payment progression.<\/li>\n<li>Significant relevant experience of general financial duties is essential.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure proper and timely valuation of monthly stock counts, preparation of variance report and Budget monitoring.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Processing data through the sales and purchase ledgers from the point of receipt of the invoice to completion of the transaction.<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of Bank Statement with Payment Voucher, purchase and sales ledgers.<\/li>\n<li>Processing financial transactions through Sage and other accounting applications.<\/li>\n<li>Determining the Costs of Performances, Functions and Activities in a manner which Facilitates Analysis and Valid Comparisons with Established Criteria among time Periods.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly stock Valuation, Stock taking, Stock reconciliation, Budget monitoring.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of Monthly Financial Statement and Inter-branch Accounts Reconciliation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ideal candidate should:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a maximum of HND in Accountancy<\/li>\n<li>Have at least 1 year cognate experience<\/li>\n<li>Have excel data analytics skills, should be able to work with little or no supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Be Attentive with a keen eyes for details<\/li>\n<li>Have the wherewithal to work in a fast-paced and pressured environment.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of tally.<\/li>\n<li>Must be computer literate.
