We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Company Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ikeja, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare monthly management accounts, annual financial accounts and liaise with external auditors<\/li>\n<li>Prepare budgets, cash-flow projections and monitor actual expenditures against same<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate invoices are issued to clients in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Carry out periodic bank reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Follow up with clients on receivables and related WHT receipts<\/li>\n<li>Process monthly staff payroll and pension remittances<\/li>\n<li>Perform treasury function including management of cash float, accounts receivables and payables<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely renewal of Operating Licenses and Insurance policies<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the preparation, remittance, and timely filing of all local, state, and federal taxes and returns as well as cultivate relationship with tax authorities to obtain various tax certificates<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with service providers on a timely manner on accounting, regulatory, statutory, and other matters<\/li>\n<li>Provide financial input for contract bids<\/li>\n<li>Supervise account personnel and storekeeper<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the application of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures within the department.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the company assets register<\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships with bankers, regulators, tax officials, consultants and other relevant stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Handle other assignments as required by Management.<\/li>\n<li>Position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>ACCA\/ACA is required.<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years post qualification experience in management, financial accounting and treasury management.<\/li>\n<li>Strong financial and accounting background.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues.<\/li>\n<li>A team player and goal oriented individual.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional organization and time-management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>N250,000 monthly gross plus allowances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@selectivesecurityng.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>info@selectivesecurityng.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>20th November, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Selective Security International Limited is a Category \u2018A\u2019 licensed private security guard company driven by passion and integrity.
