The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting goods, equipment, and personnel to various destinations, ensuring the timely delivery of items and maintaining the company&#8217;s vehicles in good working condition.<\/li>\n<li>This role is crucial in supporting our operations and ensuring the efficient flow of materials and personnel.<\/li>\n<li>If you are a dedicated and safety-conscious individual with a passion for driving, we encourage you to apply for the Driver position at Pete Ground Service Limited. Join our team and contribute to the efficient transportation of goods and personnel, supporting our mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safely operate company vehicles, including cars, trucks, or vans, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Transport goods, equipment, and personnel to and from designated locations, ensuring on-time and secure delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Perform routine inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of mileage, trip logs, and fuel consumption.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to scheduled routes and adapt to alternate routes when necessary due to traffic or road conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.<\/li>\n<li>Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of company vehicles, both inside and outside.<\/li>\n<li>Comply with all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of safety equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with the transportation coordinator to update on deliveries, delays, or other issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements for the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a Driver, with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.<\/li>\n<li>Additional vocational training or certifications related to driving and safety are a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and repair is advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver&#8217;s license for the class of vehicle(s) being operated.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a Driver, preferably in a commercial or corporate setting.<\/li>\n<li>A clean driving record with no major traffic violations.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of local and regional road networks and traffic laws.<\/li>\n<li>Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours if needed.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and a strong focus on vehicle maintenance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies and Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safe and defensive driving practices.<\/li>\n<li>Map reading and navigation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Time management and punctuality.<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<li>Customer service orientation.<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability to changing conditions and schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Professionalism and a neat appearance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:hrpgsltd@gmail.com\">hrpgsltd@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>29th November, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pete Ground Service Limited is a premier aircraft cleaning Services Company that prides itself on delivering a comprehensive range of specialized cleaning and support services.
