We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Quantity Surveyor &#8211; Pre Contract<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ikoyi, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type<\/strong>: Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The purpose of this job role is to successfully manage project finance to ensure assigned project remains on budget, identify areas of cost overruns and\/or savings and minimize effect at early stage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unit rate build-up of work items from equipment, labor and material rates.<\/li>\n<li>Compile and submit pre-qualification documents.<\/li>\n<li>Request, compare and compile sub-contractor packages.<\/li>\n<li>Price and submit tender package with ancillary documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare project cash flows.<\/li>\n<li>Meet the deadlines of bids and tenders.<\/li>\n<li>Complete and file the schedule of finishes used for tenders and bids.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with project managers to capture all the necessary information needed for tenders and bids.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure and double-check that all tenders have all the correct information before it goes out and are checked and signed off.<\/li>\n<li>Do site visits before tenders and bids are prepared?<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation of tender and follow-up documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Advise on contract particulars and matters pre and post-tender.<\/li>\n<li>All other related duties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree \/ HND in Quantity Surveying<\/li>\n<li>6 &#8211; 8 years work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:hr@elalan.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hr@elalan.com<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>using &#8220;Quantity Surveyor- Pre Contract&#8221; as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0 <\/strong>28th November, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elalan Construction Company Nigeria Limited &#8211; For over 40years, ELALAN has delivered high-quality integrated construction solutions, and we have expanded our operational and service offering to cater to a wide&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[2863,1],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
