We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Solar Electrical Engineer (Design and Operations)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are seeking a Solar Electrical Engineer (Design and Operations) to join our dynamic team at NXT Grid.<\/li>\n<li>As a leader in the solar mini-grid industry, we are dedicated to providing reliable and sustainable energy solutions to communities in Nigeria and beyond.<\/li>\n<li>In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of solar mini-grids for various sites.<\/li>\n<li>Your expertise in solar energy systems and electrical engineering will be crucial in ensuring the successful deployment and operation of these mini-grids.<\/li>\n<li>You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to optimize the electrical systems and equipment, ensuring maximum energy service delivery to our customers while maintaining healthy financials for the sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing, reviewing, and modifying electrical design plans for solar mini-grid projects<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the implementation and installation of electrical systems<\/li>\n<li>Conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting activities on existing mini-grids<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring the performance of electrical systems and equipment and providing recommendations for improvements<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Managing project budgets and timelines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar energy system design and operations<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in electrical design software and tools<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team<\/li>\n<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Passion for renewable energy and sustainable development<\/li>\n<li>To excel in this role, you should have a solid understanding of solar energy systems and electrical engineering principles.<\/li>\n<li>You should also be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.workable.com\/view\/wKLzv6Kcoh9GjwyxG1zsnN\/hybrid-solar-electrical-engineer-(design-and-operations)-in-lagos-at-nxt-grid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0If you are passionate about renewable energy and want to make a positive impact, we invite you to join us at NXT Grid.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NXT Grid vision is to see profitable, clean mini-grids everywhere, by everyone.
