It is the first private hospital in Lagos, Nigeria to be designated \u201cBaby Friendly Hospital\u201d by the Federal Ministry of Health in 1993. We are a well-recognized and foremost pediatric referral centre in Amuwo Odofin area and its environs, as well as providing general medical care and specialist services in obstetrics and gynaecology, internal medicine and various surgical specialities. Our facility is fully computerized and staffed with professionals to deliver excellent primary medical and specialist&#8217;s services. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Lab Technician<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Festac Town, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nSample Collection and Preparation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collect, label, and prepare samples for analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Follow established protocols for sample handling and storage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Equipment Operation and Maintenance:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate laboratory equipment and instruments used in experiments and analyses.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Conducting Experiments and Tests:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Execute experiments and tests according to established procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Record and analyze data, and report findings to senior staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Quality Control and Assurance:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform quality control checks on equipment and test results.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to quality standards and protocols.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Documentation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports and summaries for review by senior staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Safety Compliance:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the laboratory.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all experiments and activities comply with safety regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Inventory Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and manage laboratory supplies and equipment inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Order and restock materials as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Collaboration:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with other team members, researchers, and scientists.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively to ensure the smooth flow of information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Troubleshooting:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify and troubleshoot issues related to equipment or experimental procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Propose and implement solutions to improve efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><br \/>\nN70,000 &#8211; N75,000 Monthly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:hr@emelhospital.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hr@emelhospital.org<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>30th November, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Emel Hospital was declared open on the 9th of December 1988 by the then Honorable Minister of Health of Nigeria, Prof. Olikoye Ransome-Kuti.
