We assist clients of all sizes, from SMEs to mid-caps and global conglomerates as well as start-ups and public bodies at every stage of their development. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Tax Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lekki, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to evaluate client requirements, and plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end tax projects for a wide range of corporate clients in multiple economic and industrial sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the process of tax audit, making recommendations on policies, and ensuring that the organization fulfills international and governmental obligations of compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the tax team in the area of supervising, developing, and growing team members.<\/li>\n<li>Perform effective risk and control assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Present tax audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency in the control, compliance and finance management, and documentation processes of clients.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively identifying opportunities to grow the business.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance, timely filing, and remittance of all taxes and levies (such as Expatriate PAYE, VAT, WHT, CIT, ET, business premises levy, development levy, etc.) within the government time frame.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to manage relationships with tax authorities and clients and support all tax audits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Person Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Must be a member of ICAN, CITN or related professional body.<\/li>\n<li>Proven expertise in a wide range of tax matters, including income tax, international tax, transfer pricing, and tax planning.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced analytical skills to assess complex tax issues and develop effective solutions<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in tax software, accounting software, and other tools used in tax consulting.<\/li>\n<li>Proven years of progressive experience in tax consulting, tax compliance, or related field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of Seven (7) years\u2019 experience, of which at least three (3) years must be at management level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/MazDecTax23\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>8th December, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mazars Nigeria (formerly called Ojike and Partners), has been in existence for over 40 years.
