We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Credit Underwriter<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lekki Phase 1, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking to hire a Credit Underwriter who would assess and make decisions on customer credit applications using a range of criteria including purpose of application, credit viability, customer payment history and customer credit-worthiness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing and analyzing the creditworthiness of all potential customers based on risk criteria.<\/li>\n<li>To evaluate all quantitative details in the applications with a view to make objective decisions based on empirical facts from financial information evaluated.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing application for credit facilities with a view to point out deviations from the company\u2019s credit policy and highlight quality assurance issues in credit proposals received from business areas.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that all credit approvals, KYC are in place documentation is duly executed and that the company\u2019s interest is well protected.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting credit search (CRS &amp; CRC Report) on credit bureau database.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting Email Verification &amp; preparing Transaction Consummation Report.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing transactions for final checklist and approval.<\/li>\n<li>Performing various departmental functions including loan covenant monitoring, risk rating, audit preparation and recovery as assigned by HOD.<\/li>\n<li>To evaluate all quantitative details in the applications with a view to make objective decisions based on empirical facts from financial information evaluated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc in Accounting, Banking &amp; Finance, Marketing or any other related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in credit underwriting and loan disbursement from a Digital Lender or Microfinance Bank.<\/li>\n<li>A good knowledge of the micro-credit and SME loan industry, with hands-on experience with lending procedures and products.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytic, numerical, organizational, critical thinking, logical reasoning, communication and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN200,000 &#8211; N250,000 \/ month.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@assetsmfb.com\">recruitment@assetsmfb.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>20th January, 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Assets Microfinance Bank is a tier-1 Microfinance bank providing accessible, reliable, and convenient financial services to individuals and businesses across Nigeria.
