We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Health and Safety Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for an experienced and responsible Health and Safety Officer to join our team.<\/li>\n<li>As a HSE Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>The main goal of the incumbent will be to always ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsilbe for planning and implementing OSH policies and programs.<\/li>\n<li>Identify process bottlenecks ad offer timely solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees\u2018 safety.<\/li>\n<li>Advice and lead employees on various safety-related topics.<\/li>\n<li>Review existing policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to all LSG safety rules and regulations by employees, and contractors.<\/li>\n<li>Work with the Human Resources department to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety .<\/li>\n<li>Conduct risk assessment.<\/li>\n<li>Enforce preventative measures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Skill Set<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess Bachelor&#8217;s Degrees in Safety Management or similar field<\/li>\n<li>3 &#8211; 5 years relevant work experience as a HSE Officer or similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.<\/li>\n<li>Good time-management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Great interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work a spart of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of legislations and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.<\/li>\n<li>Proven years of experience in producing reports.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety.<\/li>\n<li>Farmiliarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in MS Office.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of safety management information system<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding organizational skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their Resume to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sandra.ahabue@lsgskychefs.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>sandra.ahabue@lsgskychefs.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>18th December, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LSG Sky Chefs Things Remembered Services FZE is a company with strong and solid growth and is part of a group that is the world&#8217;s largest provider of inflight services&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[25,33,62],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>LSG Sky Chefs Current Available Job Opportunity- Apply Now!
