It was incorporated to carry out the business of growing, manufacture, and marketing of tea, coffee and other form of beverages. The Company is 100% owned by the Taraba State Government. The Company has its Headquarters at Kakara, Sardauna local Government area, Taraba State, Nigeria. The Head office comprises the Estate: Tea plantation of 615 hectares and the factory with installed capacity of 1.6million kgs of made tea per annum, while the marketing offices are located at Gembu, Jalingo, Yola, Kano and Abuja presently but with a view to expanding to other major towns of Nigeria. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Logistics Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Taraba<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full Time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Logistics Officer is responsible for managing drivers and warehouse staff, vehicle fleet, assets, warehousing and distribution to ensure effective, transparent and accountable logistics support. Liaison with project teams to ensure adequate logistical consideration for coordination and planning of program implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Provides technical support and guidance to program teams on logistical elements of distribution &amp; procurement planning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Areas of Accountability<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Transport &amp; Fleet:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing and tracking of all vehicles on the fleet, including movement planning and day-to-day allocation<\/li>\n<li>Ensure best value for money and that travelers are clearly informed well in advance<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain a list of contact details for preferred service providers including generator service and vehicle maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for administering litigations and traffic offenses.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure vehicles have current and lawful documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Manage service agreements related to vehicle maintenance and fuelling.
