As a result of our current expansion and development programmes, we are recruiting experienced, passionate, intelligent and resourceful Professionals to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Mechanical Technician<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Education and Work Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in a core engineering discipline (Mechanical, Petroleum, Production, Electrical or Instrumentation) with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division\/Credit. A Master&#8217;s degree or equivalent will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the oil industry with a proven track record of rotating equipment support<\/li>\n<li>The Mechanical Technician must have a good knowledge of Operational and Mechanical Practices in an E&amp;P Company.<\/li>\n<li>He is expected to have an in-depth knowledge of offshore \/swamp production engineering and operations.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must be able to lead and manage multiple concurrent projects, work in a team environment, and be able to effectively communicate within and outside the company.<\/li>\n<li>Must have worked at the supervisory level in a similar position for at least five (5) years in a reputable E&amp;P Company.<\/li>\n<li>In depth knowledge of Mechanical, Production and Facilities<\/li>\n<li>Must be capable of applying production, operational, Mechanical engineering and management principles to resolve mechanical problems and optimize hydrocarbon production enhancement opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience to resolve motor pump, conveyor, hydraulic, mechanical and other industrial equipment problems<\/li>\n<li>Must have a proven ability to plan\/ lead projects and must be able to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Must have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to work in multidisciplinary and multi-tasking teams<\/li>\n<li>Must be result oriented and committed to company goals Must have competencies to prepare daily mechanical and operations reports<\/li>\n<li>Carry out routine checks on all mechanical and industrial equipment<\/li>\n<li>Assist and support HSES teams in ensuring compliance to Safety and Security Policies and procedures at Company&#8217;s locations<\/li>\n<li>Champion the enforcement of standards and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in IT, at least basic office software is compulsory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><br \/>\nWe offer competitive and attractive packages.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their Application Letter and CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:ogas80899@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ogas80899@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>24th January, 2024.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are a leading Upstream Oil &amp; Gas company with active operatorship of prolific blocks.
