We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Pharmaceutical Lab Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ada George Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent (Hours to be discussed)<br \/>\n<strong>Interviews commence<\/strong>: 16\/2\/ 2024<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The role includes the management of a wholesale pharmacy and a medical laboratory centre to develop and efficiently implement plans as part of a team, enabling sustained growth across the two PEPHLA businesses.<\/li>\n<li>The role is also expected to create awareness of market changes and impacts of legislation, standards, and regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Efficient and effective communication with the CEO and his advisers is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain PEPHLA business growth as per agreed targets.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver on agreed company and individual metrics.<\/li>\n<li>To develop, successfully implement, and maintain accurate and up-to-date account plans and customer details alongside security, pharmacy, and laboratory services teams.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all activities and meetings are logged accurately and on time.<\/li>\n<li>Own and successfully negotiate to replace or procure contracts and services by coordinating with staff and working alongside the CEO and his Advisors.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in forecasting and planning activities by applying software tools.<\/li>\n<li>Provide feedback on market intelligence to the CEO as required.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with all parts of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Medical Lab standards.<\/li>\n<li>Attend internal and external meetings and events as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A University Degree in Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, or a related field with a minimum 2nd class<\/li>\n<li>A postgraduate degree and\/or professional qualification will be a distinct advantage.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 3 years post NYSC Lab Manager working experience<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Wholesale Pharmacy will be a distinct advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively with accrediting, licensing, and regulatory bodies.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop and\/or review technical reports.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret and correlate medical laboratory data.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to define, implement and monitor accepted performance standards in quantity control, quality assurance, and cost-effectiveness of the laboratory service.<\/li>\n<li>Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, plus Microsoft Office skills.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to use Pharmacy and Lab software will be a distinct advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Be an active listener who communicates openly to build trust.<\/li>\n<li>Self-disciplined and have personal integrity towards business development.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the daily activities of PEPHLA wholesale pharmacy and medical laboratory businesses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary per Calendar Month<\/strong><br \/>\nN150,000 &#8211; N200,000 (Depending on experience).<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Cover Letter to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:pephla@pephla.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pephla@pephla.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>9th February, 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At PEPHLA is a new company whose objects include Wholesale Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory Centre.
