{"id":193,"date":"2009-09-16T19:01:12","date_gmt":"2009-09-16T18:01:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=193"},"modified":"2010-10-17T13:54:36","modified_gmt":"2010-10-17T12:54:36","slug":"senior-electrical-engineer-amec-nigeria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/senior-electrical-engineer-amec-nigeria.html","title":{"rendered":"Senior Electrical Engineer: AMEC Nigeria Jobs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-164\" title=\"amec\" src=\"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/amec.gif\" alt=\"amec\" width=\"138\" height=\"55\" \/>AMEC <\/strong>works across a number of markets ranging from high-value consultancy, engineering and project management services to the world\u2019s energy, power and process industries<\/p>\n<p><strong>AMEC Nigeria<\/strong> is currently\u00a0recruiting for a\u00a0<strong>Senior Electrical Engineer<\/strong> for one of our clients to be based in Lagos Nigeria<\/p>\n<p>Job ID:\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none;\">5604<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The main purpose\u00a0or role of this job is to<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Execute Electrical Discipline engineering activities within budget and schedule, maintain technical integrity<\/li>\n<li>work on your own initiative.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>The Key aims and objectives of the role are<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To execute electrical engineering activities (Concept, Front End Engineering Development, Technical Study &amp; Detailed Design)<\/li>\n<li>To Ensure that all project Health Safety and environmental policies are complied with and promote the companies engineering image internally and externally.<\/li>\n<li>You will ensure that technical compliance with all design requirements is met and also ensure that all work undertaken is carried out in accordance with relevant codes, standards and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>You will act as a discipline focal point as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The prime responsibilities and duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To achieve safety standards as defined in the personal performance contract. To be responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance and maintain the required technical quality of work.<\/li>\n<li>Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process and maintain planning and cost control on all scopes.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that designs comply with the relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations and procedures and as far as is practically possible and ensure that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and schedule.
