We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Medical Laboratory Scientist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Okota, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform tasks, duties and all laboratory orders according to established protocols and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Sets up and prepares all laboratory investigations under the safe and quality conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Quality assurance and maintenance of all laboratory investigations.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain laboratory supplies inventory by checking stocks to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders and verifying receipt of supplies.<\/li>\n<li>Work cooperatively and supportively with the hospital administration and physicians to ensure service are available and cost effective, meeting quality and regulatory guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit weekly reports on all activities to the Medical Director.<\/li>\n<li>Researches, evaluates, learn and practise new trends in the industry.<\/li>\n<li>To prepare and submit on the required format all information necessary for budgeting purposes, accurately and on time.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains laboratory equipment by ensuring quality standards, certifying instrument performance; arranging equipment replacement, service and repairs.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that professional standards are maintained and developed in line with best practise, research and are evidence based.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with recruitment, selection and orientation of staff.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains staff performance by training, counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure staff rostering meets demands and is cost effective.<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible for developing own skills and knowledge and contribute to the development of others.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duty that may assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN140,000 \/ month.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Application Letter to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:outreachmedicalservice@gmail.com\"><strong>outreachmedicalservice@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>29th February, 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Outreach Medical Services is a group of hospitals offering affordable care to women and children across Nigeria.
