We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Procurement Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ketu, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Devise and use fruitful\u00a0sourcing strategies<\/li>\n<li>Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms<\/li>\n<li>Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services<\/li>\n<li>Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries<\/li>\n<li>Examine and test existing contracts<\/li>\n<li>Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company<\/li>\n<li>Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients<\/li>\n<li>Expect unfavorable events through the analysis of data and prepare control strategies<\/li>\n<li>Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements<\/li>\n<li>Control spending and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration<\/li>\n<li>Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer, or Head of Procurement<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in \u201creading\u201d the market<\/li>\n<li>Talent in negotiations and networking<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software<\/li>\n<li>Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers<\/li>\n<li>Experience in collecting and analyzing data<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership capabilities<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of a software package for Procurement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Resume to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:rosa.johnson@lancetrend.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rosa.johnson@lancetrend.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the job title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>5th April, 2024.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Only shortlisted candidates will be invited.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lance Trend Limited is an ICT company that deals in all brands of IT Gadgets.
